Note: Suggested Installation Sequence
- Download the 'offline' installer - Close all Programs, Browsers, and Open Windows.
- From Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel; uninstall all earlier versions of Java.
- Reboot
- Install current version of Sun Microsystems Java VIrtual Machine.
- Reboot - Search 'Program Files' and 'Application Data' Directories and remove old version files/folders manually.
