RE: ie-antivirus Malware from our adversary "Alexander": I stopped parts of the infection before it completed an install... I was getting the Warning's & Re-directs

1) Internet Explorer's Home Page being replaced with a Fake Security Page with Warnings & Active Links to Alexander's ie-antivirus.com or free-viruscan.com sites...

2) Windows Explorer frequently launched it's own Fake Security Warning with Active Links to Alexander's ie-antivirus.com or free-viruscan.com sites...

3) Control Panel Functions frequently launched the same Fake Security Warning with Active Links to Alexander's ie-antivirus.com or free-viruscan.com sites as did the Windows Explorer...

Just downloaded and ran your "FixIEDef" Program... It seems to have cleared up (resolved) items 2 & 3... Internet Explorer continues to trigger warning Messages with re-directs from Home Page to Alexandar's Malware.

Any Help would be much appreciated... Allow me too Toot Your Horn - Since Friday I have Installed Maxa Cookie Manager, Spy Sweeper, SpyHunter, SpyBot & Spyware Doctor...

Not a Single one of them resolved any of these (3) Problems (Very Dissappointing)... Your Utility Focused on just the ie-antivirus and almost got the whole thing... Your "The Man"

Welcome to Malwareteks; and thank you for your feedback on the performance of FixIEDef.

In order for me get get a better understanding of what is happen under the hood of your computer, I will need a couple of other logs.

I will need a HijackThis log and a log from ISeeYouXP, both can be download from our Malware Cleaning Guide

Attach both logs.
