To start things off, these are the items on the wish list that I would like to incorporate in the final product, with the final product being along the lines of a Web type application that can be accessed by remote clients.
Wish list 1. Registering of new clients. 2. Checking for up coming appointments. 3. Tracking of scheduling conflicts. 4. Billing of Therapist Billing Time & Billing Units. 5. Schedule using iCal.
It would more go in the line of using something like e107 for the Front end, but incorporate a secure site for use in the field, and local.
Currently I am writing the Tables in Access, but due to the limitations in Access that you have to use Visual Basic, that is not the long term solution. Of course the easiest would be if the client purchases already designed software for their use if their business gets larger. I threw out the map a long time ago. Now I go my own direction!
Already have PHP & MySQL for Dynamic Websites. The wife already threw a fit because I ordered VBA for Excel 2k3 & Access Inside Out. Of course, next buy is the license for Adobe Acrobat Pro with LiveCycle.
I did try out Filemaker, and it seems like a good one to add to my software. I threw out the map a long time ago. Now I go my own direction!
